Makeshift Ensemble is the music of Joe Lewis .

Track 1 "the kick" tries to emulate a person trying to battle a demon/addiction on there own . The bass plays the roll of the demon , trumpet & Sax - pleading voices , guitar - pacing heart , drums - the chase .

Track 2 " Sometimes..." was writen when
someone I love/d so much stopped being in my life and the music has 3 sections , a question , a search for the why , and last a resolve ( not an answer )

I hope you like the music , I am always writing music and working hard on growing with my compositions .
