Bolo's a Singer, Songwriter, on the Yogic path. Songs of Life, Transformation, Love & Unity. Bolo means to sing or chant. Bolo's a member of "JAYA!" in house band at "Yandara Yoga Institute", Baja, Mexico. *****He plays lead guitar, harmonium, dotar, banjo, djembe & Indian flute. He's written more than 100 original songs, ranging from unplugged sweet melodic ballads, Kirtan, & Gospel, to Rock'n electric guitar solos. Bolo says "My goal is to use poetry in song to reflect the experience of being alive."***** Bolo started playing guitar & writing songs at the age of 16. His Yoga Teacher training began in 1972. He lived at Yogi Bhajans Ashram in Marin, CA, & with Baba Hari Das at "Mt. Maddonna Center". There, he led Kirtan, cooked for retreats & performed annually for 20 years in a play "The Ramayanna". He's also a chef & co-owned a restaurant "Dharmas" in Santa Cruz, CA. His other interests include writing, painting, gardening, sacred theater & dance. Bolo's been in several bands & has many archived recordings. *****One day I decided to listen to a box of his old cassettes. What I found was a collection of songs most of which I had never heard. I was so touched by what I heard, I was often brought to tears. My intention became to preserve these recordings & create a way to share them, for the enjoyment of others & the message they carry. Music has been a major force in my life & I believe benefits no one if it sits unheard. So, I learned how to digitalize, equalize & make these songs into CD Albums**** I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Tim Nutt, who founded Sutros.com. I applaud him for successfully creating a user friendly site making it possible for "undiscovered" talent to find it's way worldwide, into every home.
