Song description

Bruised and confused,
from the last wave, it crashed down on my face and
since I’ve been struggling to keep my head up

While everything was submerging
When there is no side to hold on to
You could keep me floating on

Could my dreams, save a place for you in my favourite scenes
I’m weakened but aware
And if you’ve got any love going to spare, I can meet you there

Bruised and confused,
When the last wave, it smashed the smile off my face
And I’ve been struggling to reach the depth over here

Although the water is receding
My salted wounds still bleeding
And it will keep flowing

Hi! =) Thank you so much for your review on one of my piano pieces. It really means a lot -- sometimes, I feel so ignored because piano music, especially my particular style, isn't especially popular these days, haha ...

Anyway, as for this song. Lovin' the sax cameo! The sax is one of my favorite instruments, and I find it woefully underused, even as a passing spice, in today's music.

And again, I love your lyrics. There's a melodramatic-ness to the tone that I think the girl you're trying to woo would absolutely love. (I'm assuming the lyrics about being smashed on the head by waves isn't literal in this case, but I could be mistaken.)

I do, in fact, find your music both relaxing and interesting! Which is a hard combination -- I find music to be more either-or than both at the same. So it's cool you seem to be able to do both. I'd love to hear what would happen should you decide to get loud and daring, however =)

Thanks for sharing this! I really enjoyed it =D
