Santa Cruz, California composer, musician and producer, PETELACEY presents sophisticated and timeless melodies levitating fluidly over cool rhythmic beats traversing between pop/rock and modern jazz. His music distills the best of all of his jazz and rock influences.
PETE has also produced a variety of commercials for Northern California and National Radio and as an educator, he has shared his love of music and recording with many. In 2007, PETE was bestowed a great honor to teach at friend, MTV Real World cast member and social worker, Joe Patane’s inaugural Dream Camp, ‘Camp Woz’; a week long camp for 'emotionally and behaviorally challenged' individuals which was hosted at Apple Inc.‘s co-founder, Steve Wozniak’s home. Camp Woz proved to be one of PETE’s most rewarding experiences and continues to inspire him to pay forward charitableness and social consciousness in every aspect of life.
PETE is also a recipient of the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award and has received honors from the National Association of Jazz Educators.
Joining forces with San Francisco Bay Area guitarist GREGMULLINS, The Lacey-Mullins Nocturnal Obsession Project (aka LMNOP) combines their unique chemistry, wide musical spectrum and attention to detail. Together they have skillfully crafted infectious melodies and fluid chord progressions to create a timeless fusion of modern jazz, rock and pop.

Song description
Artist/Producer Pete Lacey and Kim Van Tuyl live two thousand miles away from each other but still share a strong bond. In December 2008, they had one opportunity to record together for the first time - ever - at the Stustustudio in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern, California. The result of that single session in the redwood forest is Kim Van Tuyl's, first digital release, 'Hometown Glory' by Grammy winner, Adele.
Their arrangement is the first vocal cover that is commercially available anywhere and it's debuting on Sutros first!
